I have over thirty years of education, psychotherapy, and behavioral sciences experience that explores the relationship between the conscious and the unconscious, as well as the patterns and dynamics of motivation and the mind.

I have advanced degrees in depth-psychology, and certifications in neurotherapy and health and wellness coaching.

Health and Wellness Coaching

I received my training in coaching at the Mayo Clinic Health and Wellness Institute in Rochester, Minnesota. As a Mayo Clinic Certified Health and Wellness coach, I utilize client-centered psychology, with the client in the driver’s seat, focusing on solution-oriented coaching to assist individuals harness their values and desires, and transform them into long lasting behavioral change. The Mayo Clinic Wellness Coaching Model is based on the principles of Positive Psychology to actualize the potential within every person. You are the expert in your own life. It is my role to help you discover that expert within you.

Neurotherapy/Neurofeedback

My training and certification is with the LENS, or Low Energy Neurofeedback system through Ochs Lab in Sebastopol, California. LENS is an effective form of neurotherapy that facilitates changes in people and children of all ages. The LENS system is unique in that it enhances/reduces time spent in therapy, adults as well as children benefit, and it is an excellent option for those who struggle focusing for extended periods of time. Whether life changes are expected or unexpected, they can be stressful and sometimes our fears of the unknown take over making it difficult to move forward and establish goals and a vision for the future. Even positive life changes involve adjusting and overcoming anxiety of the unknown.

I’m available to face the challenges of change with you and together we can meet fear, uncertainty, worry, and uneasiness, so you can live life to your fullest. Facing any type of change requires taking big risks. We all have times in our lives when we need to dig deep and re-discover our strength and passion in life to overcome our fears and get back in touch with our source of vitality.
